Work we have done

Concrete deliveries, and the experience the team has built over more than twenty years on the Dynamics platform. Customers are anonymised to their industry; names are added as customers agree to it.

What we have delivered

Food manufacturer · process manufacturing

From AX 2012 to a plan production can follow

A Danish food manufacturer ran production planning outside its old AX 2012, the plan lived in spreadsheets, and the system was told afterwards. With the move to Dynamics 365, planning moved in. Production orders are sequenced by the lines' actual changeover logic, and intermediate activities are planned along, so the plan holds all the way down to the hour.

Reporting as finished happens from terminals at the line through a dedicated service layer, with a license plate label on the finished pallet and put-away work created automatically in the warehouse. The scheduling system alongside writes directly back into Dynamics 365, so there is only one plan.

Today the plan lives in one place, and production reports finished where the work happens.

From Targit to Fabric. More solution, lower price

A Danish food manufacturer needed to move off its old Targit reporting as part of the switch to Dynamics 365. The task was deliberately scoped as a minimum solution. Move the necessary reports to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, nothing more.

It ended somewhere else. By building on the platform's standard building blocks instead of rebuilding everything from scratch, the solution could grow along the way. A full BI solution with more capabilities than originally quoted, delivered at a lower price than the original quote.

Machinery manufacturer & electronics manufacturer

Pay for what people actually do

At two of our customers, a machinery manufacturer and an electronics manufacturer, we reviewed the security roles against what users actually do. In both places, broad roles had taken root. Access nobody used was triggering licenses at the expensive end.

We measured each role's license impact, trimmed access to the real work, and moved terminal and screen users to device licenses where that was cheaper. The adjustments were tested module by module, so nobody lost access they used, and the review was finished before the license renewal, where it was needed.

Machinery manufacturer · configurable machines

From quote to sales order without losing anything on the way

A Danish machinery manufacturer configures and prices its machines in a CPQ system and sends the order to Dynamics 365. But on the way in, the order lost things. The quoted prices were overwritten by the system's own pricing rules, catalog items lost quantities and line text, and a single discontinued item could bring down the whole import.

We rebuilt the integration so the quoted prices are the ones on the order, and so a blocked item is caught and replaced instead of stopping everything. It sounds simple. The hard part was finding the places in the standard system where good automation did the wrong thing, and switching it off exactly there, without switching it off everywhere else.

Today, orders go through as they were quoted.

Energy and utilities group

A project that changed hands, and made it home

A Danish energy and utilities group was in the middle of a Dynamics 365 implementation started with another vendor. We took over, completed the solution and took it through cut-over to go-live.

Along the way, regression testing was automated with RSAT, so every fix and every update from Microsoft could be tested without pulling key people out of operations. The tests are owned by the customer's own people, they know the processes, and they are the ones who live with the system.

The solution is in production today and keeps up every time Microsoft ships a One Version update.

Electronics manufacturer

Invoices that post themselves, and the bugs that had to be found first

A Danish electronics manufacturer adopted Microsoft's AI-based invoice reading, Invoice Capture, for vendor invoices. We set the solution up, added the fields their bookkeeping actually steers by, and tested it against real invoices, exchange rates, price units, VAT codes.

Along the way we found errors that would have cost money in the accounts. The invoice date was set as the posting date, and line amounts came in wrong on pending invoices. That kind of thing is raised with Microsoft and followed to the door.

The solution is in production, and bookkeeping handles exceptions instead of typing invoices.

Global equipment manufacturer

The last weeks before go-live are not the time to get acquainted

A global equipment manufacturer was taking Dynamics 365 live in its Danish unit and needed experienced hands for the transition itself. We came in for cut-over. The plan for what closes when, the data migration, the checks that open orders, inventory and balances came across correctly, and the staffing for the first days after.

Cut-over is a craft you only get good at by having done it many times.

Electronics manufacturer · power electronics

Ongoing support is not a waiting room

For a Danish electronics manufacturer we are the standing Dynamics 365 partner. The same few people who know the solution take the cases directly and can go from troubleshooting to fix without a handover in between.

Support is not separated from development. When the same question comes a third time, we build an automation, adjust the setup or change the code, so the question disappears.

Grocery wholesaler

One integration layer, two ERP generations

A Danish grocery wholesaler was running AX 2012 and Dynamics 365 side by side in the middle of a roll-out. We built the layer that ties them to everything around them. Customers and sales orders in, vendors and purchase orders, transfer orders to the warehouse, receiving at license plate level, counts and inventory adjustments, all of it over Azure Service Bus.

Grocery distribution is volume. The reservation engine, the ATP matrix and the substitution waves were built and performance-tested before they went live.

What the team brought with them

Delivered before LamaLeap, through previous employments and own companies. We show it because that experience works for us today, every time we take on a new task.

Cold-store operator · 3PL

Five years in the freezer

A five-year programme of advanced warehouse management at a cold-store operator. Truck and picking terminals, put-away and picking flow, all the way from the gate and back to the gate.

A freezer warehouse does not forgive detours. At working temperatures far below zero, every screen on the terminal has to be right the first time, and the flow has to follow the order the work actually has. It was built and refined in live operation, year after year, together with the people on the floor.

Lifestyle group · design and interior

A robotic warehouse on the standard system

A robotic warehouse was connected to Dynamics 365, and along the way the WMS flow was streamlined and old customisations rolled back towards standard, leaving the solution easier to maintain than it was before the robots arrived.

This one is seen from the customer's side. The person behind it sat in the company with responsibility for warehouse management and coordinated the development with the Dynamics partners. That experience shapes how we run warehouse projects today.

International industrial group

One warehouse design, many sites

Design and implementation of warehouse management across multiple sites from one shared template, same processes, same terminal flow, local differences only where they are real.

Plus integrations to third-party WMS and to material handling equipment, so Dynamics 365 talks directly to the machinery that moves the goods.

Offshore wind turbine manufacturer

Manufacturing, logistics and quality in one architecture

A two-year AX 2012 implementation at an offshore wind turbine manufacturer, with architectural responsibility for manufacturing, logistics and quality. The requirements for warehousing, planning, production and quality management were gathered, designed and tested as one whole.

Customisations were driven through external development partners, with design reviews and solution testing along the way, in an industry where the components are large, expensive and must be traceable.

Global fashion group

The procurement track in a global programme

Track lead for procurement in a global Dynamics 365 programme. Workshops with the business, requirements from product development and buying, functional design documents and the handover to Microsoft's developers.

European manufacturer with retail operations

Dynamics 365 side by side with SAP

A two-year upgrade from AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 for the sales and retail side, designed to run alongside the group's SAP landscape, which kept finance, production and warehousing.

Two ERP systems in one group demand sharply drawn interfaces. Who owns which data, and where the boundary runs.

Utilities group

The SCM track in a larger ERP programme

SCM lead on a two-year Dynamics 365 implementation in the utilities sector, with full responsibility for procurement, sales, warehousing and planning, one track in a larger ERP programme with many parallel deliveries.

Workshops, requirements gathering, functional design documents, configuration, testing and change management, the whole track from first meeting to operations.

Nordic logistics group

Ten legal entities, four countries, one plan

Project management of a global Dynamics 365 roll-out at a Nordic logistics provider. Ten legal entities across the Nordics, the Netherlands, Belgium and France, with data migration from several legacy ERP systems and Success by Design as the method.

Roll-outs at that scale are decided by sequence and repeatability, entity number seven drawing on everything entity number two learned.

Across industries

Payments, banks and reconciliation for 20+ years

More than 20 years of setting up and running bank integration in Dynamics. Host-to-host connections to Danish and global banks, payment flows, electronic bank statements and reconciliation.

Payments are the place in the system where a mistake is money. The experience lies in everything that can go wrong between the bank and the bookkeeping.

Industrial group & utility company

The finance track on the big roll-outs

Track lead for finance and the project module through several large implementations. Chart of accounts, fixed assets, receivables/payables and project management, including a global roll-out template at an industrial group and an implementation at a utility company.

Plus six years with a utility company's ERP vendor, designing a work order module for infrastructure tasks.

Trading and manufacturing companies

Product data that stands up to an audit

Trade modules, product master data and engineering change management over many years. PIM with ECM, Subscription Billing, Business Documents and vendor invoice automation.

And the experience is twofold. Before consulting came the years on the customer side in the electronics industry. Sourcing in Asia, costing and quotation.

Danish companies, large and small

Payroll that adds up, since 2001

Payroll, Time & Attendance and finance in Dynamics, implemented over more than twenty years, at large and small companies, through six consultancies and independently.

A background as a payroll accountant means the work starts with what the payslip should say and the rules behind it. The module configuration comes after.

Danish manufacturers

Six platform generations, three upgrades into production

From XAL through Axapta and AX to Dynamics 365. Three upgrade tracks taken into production, code upgrades in between, and AX 2012-to-D365 transformations since.

Every upgrade is also a clean-up. Customisations are folded back into standard, and the unused ones are retired.

Electronics manufacturer · customer side

Twelve years on the customer side

Twelve years in the same manufacturing company, from the order office to owning the ERP platform. Project management of an Axapta implementation from selection and pre-project to go-live at three sites, later extended to five sites in three countries. EDI to the suppliers, home-built forecast and planning modules, BI with a data warehouse.

It is not a single story. Two others on the team came the same way, from the controller's and the buyer's chair in a manufacturing company into consulting. That is the experience behind the line on this site. We have sat on the other side of the table ourselves.

Electronics manufacturing · EMS

The electronics industry from the inside

Three of the team worked in electronics manufacturing before they became consultants, more than thirty years combined on the customer side with sourcing, costing, controlling, planning and ERP operations. All three came from the same company. And today, two of our standing customers are electronics manufacturers.

Electronics manufacturing has demands of its own. Traceability at component level, customer-owned stock in your own warehouse, frequent BOM revisions. We don't need that explained first.
